Robert H "Doc" Pierce FieldDoc Pierce

At a recent Board of Education Meeting, the Board unanimously voted to change the name of our football field to the "Robert H. "Doc" Pierce Field" because of his tireless efforts to assist student athletes and their families in the Fruitport Community Schools district.

A committee of local citizens are working to raise the funds to build a wall that would  adequately display the name of the field in Doc’s honor.

To learn more about this project or to donate to this worthy cause, please follow the link to visit the
"Doc Pierce Memorial Field " page on our website.
