Regional Technology Millage Election

On September 24, 2013 the MAISD will hold a Technology Enhancement millage election.  This millage would be for one mill and run for 10 years. The MAISD would collect the one mill annually from every MAISD property taxpayer during this time and redistribute the money on a per pupil basis.  Should the millage pass, Fruitport would receive over $480, 000 annually.  The millage could only be used for safety/security technologies, hardware, software, professional development, and technology support.

In order to hold the September 24 election, 3,000 petition signatures must be collected county-wide before June10. Contact the Fruitport Central Office at (231) 865-4002 if you would like more information on this proposed election or the signature petition.

Go Blue Youth Football Camp
