Resource Physical Science- This course is designed to help students develop an understanding and interest in physical science methods and skills. Students will explore the following areas: force, energy and work, motion, machines and heat. Students will engage in corresponding experiments and investigate careers in physical science.

Resource English 9 A, B, C-
In the Resource English 9 course, students focus on developing important communication skills-reading/viewing, writing, speaking, listening, and research. They read and respond to fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama organized into thematic units. Students will work to increase vocabulary and improve grammar skills. One trimester will be dedicated to the various technologies available in the areas of reading and writing. Screen Reader, audio text, talking word processors and other tools will be used during instruction. Instruction is adapted to meet the individual needs of the student.

Resource English 10/11 A, B, C- This course will combine world literature with American literature emphasizing important themes in history and society. Students will continue to work on strengthening and expanding communication skills, including reading/viewing, writing, listening, and speaking. Instruction is adapted to meet the individual needs of the student.

Resource English 12 A,B,C- This course is designed to introduce the student to real world reading and writing. Topics to be covered include resume writing, consumer correspondence, reading and understanding utility bills, product warranties and other every day opportunities for reading and writing.

Resource World History A (Ancient)- World History is a comprehensive historical study designed to provide students with a vital understanding of the past to help them understand their own times. Emphasis will be on place, time, and significance in the continuity of history. Individualized Education Plan goals and short-term objectives will be addressed through modified General Education World History A content and curriculum.

Resource Geometry- This course introduces the student to logical reasoning and facts about geometric figures and relationships. Individualized Education Plan goals and short-term objectives will be addressed through modified General Education Geometry content and curriculum.
