Media Production A & B
This is a one-year entry-level class. The main emphasis of this class is field production, pre and post-production and planning. Students will learn the basic elements of Video and Audio Production as it applies to both Broadcast TV/Radio and Production Houses. Students will use: Videos cameras, cuts only editors, microphones, audio mixing boards, field light tripods, Amiga computers, and IBM network system.

Basic Studio Production A & B
This is a one-year (see above) entry-level class. The main emphasis of this course is studio production and the skill necessary to operate a Broadcast TV or a Production/House Studio. Students will learn to perform all jobs found in a TV Studio.
Students will work with: studio cameras, Tele-Prompters, audio mixing board microphones, studio lights, seg, Amiga computers, Video Toaster, cuts only editors, field cameras, field lights and communication equipment.

Drama
Drama is a course designed to introduce the students to the whole area of drama. In this course, the students will learn through practical application the basics of scene design, stage lighting, make-up, costumes, front house, and acting.

Drama II
Drama II allows students to move from stage performance to student directors of drama at FHS. Students study and produce plays and musicals for the Fruitport stage through script and character analysis, blocking and stage movement, stage lighting and technical theater.
