The consent form at the back needs to be signed and returned to the athletic office before beginning fall sports. Hard copies of this brochure can be picked up in the athletic office. Sportsmanship GuidelinesThe Lakes 8 Activities Conference has developed guidelines for our schools to follow to ensure the good sportsmanship in conference competition. These guidelines are not all-inclusive but should give schools a good idea as to what is and what is not acceptable. The Administrators in the Lakes 8 Activities Conference encourage energetic and supportive student groups in the stands, but we also have a duty to ensure that what is being done is appropriate. We hope that fans will be loud and have a great time supporting their team in a positive manner--while recognizing that the real contest is the competition on the court or the field, not in the stands.
