Wow!  I can't believe how fast this school year is going already.  It seems like we just started and now we are already into the holiday season.

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for your patronage during our Fall Book Fair.  Thanks to you, we earned over $1,300 for new books for our library.  The new books should be arriving soon and I can't wait to get them into the hands of your students.

During the first week of November, we had our own election in the library as our third, fourth and fifth graders voted for their favorite fiction books.  Here are the winners for the top four places:

4th place:  Harry Potter
3rd place:  Junie B. Jones
2nd place:  Diary of a Wimpy Kid
1st place:  Goosebumps

It was a lot of fun and very interesting to see the many different books that students chose as their favorite books.  Several of them were quite a surprise to me.
